ABOUT ADYELA
ADYELA [Ă-DĒ-Ā-LĂ] is a studio-based fashion house rooted in craft, restraint, and longevity.
Each garment is designed and made in the United States, shaped through a slow and deliberate process that prioritizes form, structure, and material integrity.
The house is defined by a quiet dialogue between tailoring and image — where construction is precise, and visual language is intentional. ADYELA does not follow seasons in haste, but builds collections through continuity, discipline, and time.
SHARED PRACTICE
ADYELA is shaped by a long-standing collaboration.
Olga Nazarova and David Michael began working together in 2008, developing a shared language through years of parallel practice — refining proportion, tone, and restraint over time. What began as a creative partnership evolved into a sustained studio dialogue, allowing the house to form slowly and deliberately.
This continuity is reflected in the work itself: garments shaped through trust, repetition, and an intimate understanding of each other’s disciplines. ADYELA is the result of this long-form collaboration — built over time, rather than assembled.
ON DAVID MICHAEL
David Michael is an accomplished designer and classically trained tailor with over two decades of experience in the fashion and design industry.
His practice is grounded in traditional tailoring disciplines, developed through years of hands-on work within leading international fashion houses. Throughout his career, David has served as a lead tailor for some of the most respected names in contemporary fashion, contributing to collections defined by precision, structure, and restraint.
In parallel with his atelier work, David founded and led independent labels including Endovanera and David Michael NY, refining a design language centered on proportion, construction, and longevity.
At ADYELA, David oversees all aspects of pattern development, fit, and construction. Each garment is cut and refined under his direction. Tailoring here is not decorative — it is foundational.
ON OLGA NAZAROVA
Olga Nazarova is a professional photographer and creative director whose practice spans fashion, art, and visual storytelling.
For over a decade, she has collaborated with fashion houses in New York and Los Angeles, shaping visual identities and directing campaigns with a focus on restraint, atmosphere, and emotional clarity. Her work has included creative direction for international labels such as THVM Atelier and David Michael NY, where image and garment were developed in close dialogue.
Olga’s approach is informed by her background in fine art photography — privileging tone over spectacle and presence over performance. At ADYELA, she guides the visual and conceptual language of the house, ensuring that each collection is defined not only by form, but by mood, silence, and intention.
She lives and works in Taos, New Mexico, where the pace of the studio allows for a slower, more deliberate approach to creation.
PHILOSOPHY
ADYELA believes that clothing should endure — visually, physically, and emotionally.
The house values discipline over novelty, clarity over noise, and integrity over scale.
Each piece is designed to exist beyond trend, defined instead by proportion, material, and the human body in motion.
